5 Fragen an… Chief People Officer Heike

1. Wie lange bist du schon bei Emakina und was genau sind deine Aufgaben?

Ich bin seit April 2019 bei Emakina CEE. Als Chief People Officer bin ich für das Management der Strategie und der Prozesse für den Aufbau und die Bindung eines außergewöhnlichen Teams verantwortlich.

2. Was gefällt dir besonders an deinem Job?

Zuallererst: Ich bin Teil eines Teams, in dem ich darauf vetrauen kann, dass die Absichten jedes Einzelnen gut sind. Gemeinsam mit ihnen kann ich an der Entwicklung der Organisation und der Menschen mitwirken. Ich liebe es, dass ich in meiner Rolle beide Seiten meines Gehirns nutzen kann 😉 Es gefällt mir, Ordnung, Klarheit und Strategie in komplexe Situationen zu bringen. Andererseits erfüllen mich persönliche Interaktionen und die Unterstützung in der Entwicklung anderer sehr.

3. Wie lautet dein Lieblingszitat und warum hast du genau dieses ausgewählt?

Vor einigen Jahren habe ich meinen Master-Abschluss während meines Vollzeitjobs gemacht. Dieses Zitat erinnerte mich immer daran, warum ich das tue, z. B. wenn ich es leid war, so diszipliniert zu sein. Ich bin auch ein Fan des Wortes “und” anstelle von “entweder, oder”. Wir können stark und sanft zugleich sein.

4. Welche Sportart machst du gerne?

Swing Dance – das ist die Zeit der 20er/30er Jahre. Es gibt eine Struktur und darin trotzdem viel Raum für die eigene Improvisation, Kreativität und den persönlichen Stil. Tänzer folgen dem Prinzip Call and Response: Ich inspiriere meinen Tanzpartner mit einer Bewegung und lasse ihn auf seine Art reagieren und umgekehrt. Die Verbindung von Kopf und Herz. Und: Gemeinsam tanzen macht mehr Spaß!

Every successful project at Emakina is based on the hard work of our team. Therefore, we would like to introduce our colleagues: This time Chief People Officer Heike Huhn answers five interesting questions.

1. How long have you been with Emakina and what exactly is your job?

I joined Emakina CEE in April 2019. As the Chief People Officer I’m in charge of managing the strategy and processes related to building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals.

2. What do you like most about your job?

First and foremost: I’m part of a team where I trust every one that their intentions are good. Together with them, I get to take part in developing the organization and its people. I love that my role requires me to use both sides of my brain 😉 I like bringing order, clarity and a strategic outlook to complex situations. The other half of me gets deep satisfaction through personal interaction and when I can support others in their development.

3. What is your favorite quote? Why did you choose exactly this one?

Few years ago I did my Master’s degree while working full time. This quote always reminded me why I was doing all of this, e.g. when I was tired to be disciplined. I’m also a fan of the word „and“ instead of „either, or“. We can be strong and gentle.

4. What kind of sport do you enjoy?

Swing Dance – that’s the era oft he 20’s/30‘s. There’s a structure and in that, lot’s of room for your own improvisation, creative flow and personal style. Dancers follow the call and response principle: I inspire my partner with a move and let them respond in their way and vice versa. Head and heart connection. And: Dancing together is more fun!
