1. In welchem Bereich absolvierst du dein Praktikum bei Emakina und was sind deine Aufgaben?

Ich bin Praktikantin im Bereich IT und Web Development. Momentan arbeiten mein Kollege Samuel und ich gemeinsam an einem Projekt, bei dem ich mich vor allem um Datenanalyse kümmere. Ich bin schon gespannt, was in den nächsten zwei Monaten noch so auf mich zukommen wird.

2. Was gefällt dir besonders gut bei Emakina?

Am besten gefällt mir, dass ich als Praktikantin viele verschiedene Eindrücke aus ganz unterschiedlichen Gebieten sammeln kann. Ich bekomme die Möglichkeit, in kurzer Zeit die Facetten einer großen Firma kennenzulernen und kann mir überlegen, wo ich mich nach meinem Studium sehen könnte – das ist schon sehr hilfreich.

Außerdem gibt’s manchmal Kuchen.

3. Welcher ist der beste Ratschlag, den du jemals bekommen hast?

„Drink some coffee, put on some Gangster Rap and just handle it.“ Hat bis jetzt immer funktioniert.

4. Welchen Sport machst du gerne? Warum?

Kickboxen, Backcountry Skifahren, Downhill Biken und dergleichen. Hauptsache maximales Adrenalin und nicht langweilig – am besten in der Natur.

5. Tesla oder Edison?

Komplette wissenschaftliche Genialität, Starkstrom-Blitze, und ein classic 1896 Mustache auf der einen Seite versus Geldgier, gestohlene Patente und Anti-Wechselstrom-Propaganda auf der anderen. Keine Frage, Teslas mind was superior und der coolere Typ war er auch!

6. Skifahren oder Snowboarden?

Skifahren! Die Snowboarder sitzen ja eh nur im Schnee.

5 Questions to… Intern Anna

Every successful project at Emakina is based on the hard work of our team. Therefore, we would like to introduce our colleagues: This time our Intern Anna Freund answers five interesting questions – and one bonus question.

1. In which area you doing your internship at Emakina and what are your tasks?

I am an intern in the field of IT and web development. My colleague Samuel and I are currently working together on a project where I focus on data analysis. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s to come in the next two months.

2. What do you like most about working at Emakina?

What I like best is that as an intern I can gather many different impressions from various areas. I get the opportunity to get to know the facets of a big company in a short time and can think about where I could see myself after completing my studies – that’s very helpful.

There is also cake sometimes.

3. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

“Drink some coffee, put on some gangster rap and just handle it.” Has always worked so far.

4. Which sport do you like to do? Why?

Kickboxing, backcountry skiing, downhill biking and the like. Essentially maximum adrenaline and not boring – preferably in nature.

5. Tesla or Edison?

Utter scientific ingenuity, high voltage flashes, and a classic 1896 mustache on the one hand versus greed for money, stolen patents and anti-AC propaganda on the other. No question, Tesla’s mind was superior and he also was the cooler guy!

6. Skiing or snowboarding?

Skiing! Snowboarders are only sitting in the snow anyway.
